Dumfries House trips
Each of our children had the opportunity to attend one of our day trips to Dumfries and had an absolute ball – staff included!
Alana, Lesleyanne and Sherrie took it in turns to drive the children in 4 groups to the beautiful grounds and spent 4hours there exploring all it has to offer.

Our SWAY above shows just some of what each group got up to.

A huge thank you to everyone who came and of course for the effort Sherrie put in to setting up such a fabulous variety of experiences for you to explore and investigate – not to mention the epic clear up that was required afterwards haha.

New App to download for EA Leisure
In April Active Schools make the move from EAC Vibrant Communities over to East Ayrshire Leisure Trust.
Most will remain the same but some things will change, one of which is how we promote and sign up for holiday programs starting this Easter.
We will be doing this sign up via the EAL app. New app details below.
UNCRC Article 27
Hi everyone,
This month we will be exploring Article 27 from the UNCRC. To promote the children’s understanding we will be asking the children
- what do you have in your house?
- what do you need in your house?
- what would you like in your house?
We have already been discussing this within the centre, but it would be great to see what the children could share with you at home. Please tell us how you get on and share any pictures, markings etc for us to display proudly on our UNCRC display wall.
Article 27 (adequate standard of living)
Every child has the right to a standard of
living that is good enough to meet their
physical and social needs and support
their development. Governments must
help families who cannot afford to
provide this.
Kids Cooking Classes
These classes are recommended for age 4 plus
Meet our New Buddies
Our Primary 6 pupils were so excited to meet their ECC buddies this afternoon!
They had a wonderful time getting to know to each other and are very much looking forward to being role models and helping our August P1 pupils settle into their new school.
This is the start of an extensive transition programme, keep checking the blog to follow our transition journey.
