In June we will have lots of new children coming to visit prior to starting after the summer, so we need your help ………..
This is Roxanne our rock snake. It will be situated outside Catrine ECC and we would love to see all of your painted rocks and how long we can get our snake to grow. It will brighten up our path on the walk way into the centre for existing and new families.
It would be great if you could go for a walk with your child and collect stones, to paint and to add to our basket. We do have a small amount to start it off if you wish to lift one.
Pictures of your adventure and creations can also be uploaded to learning journals.
Let’s decorate our playground bright and make everyone happy and smile when they are walking in. Please be careful nobody trips over it and please remind your child not to remove stones that have been placed down with love and care by peers.
Thanks
Carrie

Parents we need your help!

During the week of the 11th of May we will be having a World of work week, where the children will have the opportunity to participate in lots of fun activities based on different jobs in the world they live in. This allows the children to gain knowledge about jobs they might want to have when they grow up and allows them to build life long skills.
We always like to involve our families in this and we ask if any of you would like to come in and tell the children all about your job. The children love to hear about the different roles, the tools you use, the uniform you wear, the people you help, the products you produce or even see some photos of your workplace.
If this is something you would be willing to do then please speak to Sherrie and we will arrange a date and time that suits.
Thanks
Thank you to everyone who came along to join Julie today for an Easter story and some festive songs 🙂
It was an amazing turnout and we genuinely appreciate the continued high levels of parental engagement you share with us 🙂
Below are our SWAYs for the month across our 3-5 playrooms – Our Voes playroom can be found within each child’s learning journal as always.
Have the best Easter everyone, from all the team at Catrine ECC.
