Please, please, please give your feedback :)

This is the time of year that we ask for your views, feedback and comments to help us with our centre Improvement Plan.

Your feedback means the world to us and genuinely helps us to forward plan for the following year.

Please click on the link below to help us evaluate our practice as we strive to give the best opportunities possible to the children of Catrine ECC.

Thank you so much for your continued support πŸ™‚

Have a super holiday weekend.

Sun Safety

Free Sunshine Clipart Pictures - Clipartix
As we prepare for the warmer weather, the safety of our children in the sunshine is a factor that we need to consider.

Each year we require parents to apply the first layer of sun cream BEFORE they arrive in the morning. Children MUST have sun cream on if they wish to play outdoors on sunny days. Each child should bring a bottle of sun cream with them to keep at the ECC.Β  In the afternoon we would apply a second layer for those children wishing to access our outdoor areas.

The weather forecast for the rest of the week has to be high temperatures (and hopefully more to come in the next few months) therefore this will start from tomorrow (Tuesday 18th April 2023)

The children love to explore our outdoor areas so we thank you for your cooperation in helping to ensure that your child can continue to play outdoors in the nicer weather πŸ™‚

ECC OPEN EVENING

To celebrate our return to our beautifully refurbished Newton Street site, we would like to welcome family, friends and surrounding communities to our Open Evening on Wednesday 1st February from 6.00-7.30pm.

Come along and see our fantastic spaces for learning, excellent new resources and our wonderful outdoor areas. Please note this invite is for anyone – with or without children currently attending our setting.

We are so proud of how great Catrine ECC is looking, and we can’t wait to share it with you all.

(under 16s to be accompanied by an adult please)

We need your help !!!!

We have been on the Tesco waiting list for some time now, and its finally our turn πŸ™‚

Please tell your family and friends, share it on social media sites and don’t forget to lift your blue tokens every time you are in store from now until March πŸ™‚

The winning applicant gets a whopping Β£1500. If we win our aim is to transform our natural greenspace into an area full of risky play equipment developing gross motor skills, confidence, coordination, resilience and much, much more.

So remember, next time you are in

Thank you millions πŸ™‚

And we’re in :)

What an amazing day πŸ™‚

We are thrilled to bits at how today went. The children were fantastic, staff had a ball and it was lovely to hear such positive comments from parent/carers.

We know the majority of you are keen to see the other playrooms so on Friday we will be opening our doors from 2pm onwards for anyone that would like to drop in and explore with their child before taking them home.

Please note this is not a community open door day. We ask that it is at very most 2 adults per child simply for a wee walk round.

We will open our doors fully to extended family members, the community and residents of other nearby villages at our open night (tbc)

Thank you for your continued support throughout our decant –

love from a very happy TEAM CATRINE ECC.
