Kindness day
Some of the children have drawn pictures and decorated cards to give to people for kindness day.
FRACTIONS
The children have been discovering fractions.
They have been watching short animated lessons on the promethean board explaining how fractions work.
The children have also been using different methods and materials to explore this further using play dough and an ice cream game.
Threading
Some children have been developing their fine motor skills when threading small beads.
Also the children have been exploring name recognition by finding the letters in their names to make a necklace.
Maths week
We have been promoting maths week within the Birch room .
Some children have been developing their understanding of number order and which number comes next.
