At Bellsbank we learned the importance of Remembrance day. All children took part in activities to learn about how and why we remember.
Noah represented the school at Dalmellington’s Remembrance Parade and he laid the wreath made by P6/7 and Mrs McLurkin.

Staff and pupils have updated our Excellent Lesson. We have called this ‘Building Brilliance at Bellsbank’. Click on the image below to see what elements we expect in each lesson.
All classes took part in a Project learning about celebrations in Spain.
P6s and P7s interviewed Mr Audino and 2 pupils from Doon Academy to find out all about Spanish Celebrations. They shared what they had learned with all the other classes.
P1/2 learned about games
P2/3 learned a Spanish dance and a Spanish song ‘ Feliz Cupleanos’
P4/5 worked on decorations and learned about ‘Las Fallas’ and ‘La Tomatina’ – 2 Spanish festivals
P5/6 worked on decorations and food. They created fruit platters using the colour of the Spanish Flag.
P6/7 learned about different places in Spain they could visit and the celebrations that take place there.
