School Update

Dear Parent/Carer

We are very aware how important two way communication is between home and school and this has been very challenging since we lost the use of Class Dojo. I am pleased to announce that we now have a clear communication strategy in place from today and this is as follows:

  • You can respond to the text message sent out via SEEMIS (our computerised pupil registration system) today as we can now respond using this system. We will always strive to respond as soon as possible and certainly the same day. However, we would encourage the use of our school phone as the main text messaging communication tool, please store the number in your contacts and use this to message us if you are unable to get through on the school landline. The school mobile number is 07818511510.
  • The school mobile will be checked each day at 9.30 a.m., 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. by our clerical staff.

Please also ensure you have the Safer School App downloaded as we will be sending out information on this on a regular basis from this point on.

Finally we would encourage you to visit the school blog by searching “Bellsbank Primary School blog” on the internet as there is a lot of useful information available on this too.

We will shortly be carrying out a parent survey seeking your views on the work we do in school so we can work together to further improve all aspects of school life.

Parent Council

We are very keen for a new Parent Council to be established and we would like to invite all parents/carers who may be interested in becoming part of the Parent Council to come along to the school on Wednesday 4th October at 2.30 p.m. to meet with Linda Currie and I to discuss this further.

Yours faithfully

D. Currie
