Please note that on Friday 24th November there will no lollipop person available. Please ensure you bring your child(ren) into the school grounds safely and also pick them up at the end of the day to take them home. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. P7 Visit to UWS
P7 Transfer details to S1
Please find below clarification of the process to be used for the transfer of P7 pupils who may wish to transfer to a Secondary School in South Ayrshire for session 2024/25. The online process will be available from Monday 27th November 2023 and will close on Sunday 10th December 2023.
Parents are advised of the following :-
- If you wish your child to attend Queen Margaret Academy they should complete the school P7-S1 transfer arrangements form online at https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/article/25940/P7-S1-transfer-arrangements. Under ‘School details’ they should:
- select ‘Other’ for primary school currently attended
- input the primary school name
- select Queen Margaret Academy as the catchment secondary
- If they reside within South Ayrshire Council and wish their child to attend the non- denominational catchment secondary school they should complete the P7-S1 transfer arrangements form online at https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/article/25940/P7-S1-transfer-arrangements. Under ‘School details’ they should:
- select ‘Other’ for primary school currently attended
- input the primary school name
- select the catchment secondary relating to their address
- If you wish your child to be considered for a place at another South Ayrshire secondary school of their choice they should complete the placing request form online at
www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/placing-requests There is no requirement for a P7 – S1 transfer arrangements form to be completed for this scenario.
Bellsbank P.S. Xmas Fayre
The Parent Council is looking for donations for their bottle stall and raffle. Donations can be handed into the school anytime.

Bookbug P1 Family Bag
Bookbug P1 Family Bag
The Bookbug P1 Family Bag provides an ideal opportunity to build links between the school and home.
Every child in P1 will receive their bag today. The Bookbug P1 Family bag contains:
- three carefully selected picture books
- an activity book for children to complete with their family
- a set of coloured pencils and a whiteboard and pen to encourage children to draw, write and count at home
- The Bangles and the Crafty Crows: a book developed by the Scottish Government in partnership with Education Scotland about cyber resilience

Children In Need
Bellsbank Primary School is taking part in “Children in Need” on Friday 17th November. We will celebrate this by having a “dress down” day! A donation of £1.00 per child can be paid through ParentPay. All monies raised will be sent to Children in Need.
