We will visit the Dick Institute on Wednesday afternoon for an author workshop. We will leave at 1pm and return for school finishing. No home lunches on Wednesday and make sure we are wearing school uniform please.

Homework 28/10/19
Homework for this week will be;
spelling – read, cover, write and check, and then write 3 sentences using the words. There is also a spelling prices worksheet in the jotter which combines our words with money totals we have been learning in class.
Everyone has a new Bug Club book and some children also have a paper copy.
Homework returned by Friday please.
7th October 2019
Homework for this week will be spelling, numeracy and reading. There will be no Bug Club book for this week as we will be using a shared text for literacy work in class. The children have been given a paper copy of this and it would be great if they could read it independently or read it with an adult.
Spelling with be in the usual format, the phoneme is ue (blue).
Numeracy is place value, using tens and units to write the number shown.
I look forward to meeting some of the parents on Wednesday.
