AyrCom
AyrCom is a communication system designed to support people with additional communication needs. It is part of a Total Communication approach, using a combination of:
• Spoken language
• Signs
• Gestures
• Visuals and
• Other communication supports.
Its goal is to help individuals understand and express themselves effectively.
AyrCom uses real British Sign Language (BSL) signs, especially those commonly used in Ayrshire.
