We had a spooktacular Halloween party day in P1/2! 🎃👻

We made lots of Halloween crafts with the help of P7 and played lots of party games! We especially loved dooking for  apples and some of us were super at it! 🧡

P1/2 had a lovely Autumn walk in the park on Thursday. 🍁🍂

We spotted lots of signs of Autumn and some of us even managed to see a squirrel but Miss Mason wasn’t quick enough to get a photo! 🐿️

We also managed to squeeze in a play at the park, of course! 🛝

We have had a brilliant first term in P1/2. We’ve been learning lots, playing and making plenty of new friends! 💜

We have been learning all about ‘Houses and Homes’ in our first topic and it has been a great way of getting to know each other. We have been focussing on activities about who lives in our home and what makes a family. 🏡💜

We have worked so hard to learn our first group of sounds. We know ‘s a t i p n’ now! ✏️

In P1/2 we read the story ‘Our Class is a Family’ and based our class charter on this. We agreed on what we would like our classroom to feel like and we drew ourselves to show we all said ‘yes’ to the charter. Here is a photo to show you.  💜
