Well done to all the boys and girls completing their rainbow reading challenge 🌈  We had a great day celebrating World Book Day and all the costumes were fantastic!

We explored our senses of smell and touch. We used our noses to smell different items and describe what we noticed, and our hands to feel a variety of textures such as soft, rough, smooth, and bumpy. We talked about how our senses help us learn about the world around us and keep us safe.

Through our On the farm, we learned about different animals and how they live and grow. We explored how farmers take care of animals and crops, and why farms are important for giving us food like milk, eggs, fruits, and vegetables. We talked about farm vehicles and jobs that farmers do every day. This topic helped us understand nature, where our food comes from, and how to care for living things.

As part of our science block, we looked at The Air We Breath and how mucus helps protect our lungs from pollution around us. We had great fun at the Science Centre.

Thank you for putting lots of effort into your toys topic presentations. It was lovely to listen and watch while you shared your facts about your chosen toy. There was lots of different presentations like PowerPoints, posters and lots of you managed to bring the toy in too.

What do you think of our amazing Autumn Artwork? We used autumn paint colours and a sponge to blend them together, then we drew and coloured our mushrooms and finally added real leaves.

We had a great time visiting the nursing home and meeting all the residents. The boys and girls were very patient and kind.
