What a busy term we have had!!
We rounded up our super time with our Carol Concert on Tuesday and today we had our party!

(6/11/23)

This week we will be learning ai phoneme and have activities to go alongside.
In reading we will be learning about Non Fiction.
For our Numercay we will start to do our subtraction activities and link these to fact families.

 

(31/10/23)

We have started our new term and it is so good to be back.

In Numeracy we have started our block all about addition and subtraction. We have been doing lots of practical activities to help us with this.

Our new topic is….Toys. Where we will learn all about old toys and new toys.

On Tues 31/10 we visited Argyll House again. This time we had a Halloween theme

Term 1 (Aug – Oct)

Welcome to P2H with Mrs Haggerty and Mrs Bell.

This term in maths, we will be looking at numbers to 100. We will discuss how numbers are all around us everywhere we look and the importance of numbers in our environment. We will look ar place value while practising our skills of sequencing, ordering largest and smallest, before and after.

In Literacy, we will follow the Active Literacy programme in class and learn a new phoneme each week. Our new phoneme is introduced on Monday’s and throughout the week the children will complete written and active tasks to practise their word lists.

We visited Argyll Nursing Home for the first time and began to make new friends.

 

Our topic was Dinosaurs and we did lots of creative tasks.

We have included some term 1 photos.
