The aim of Life Literacy is to offer pupils a course where they can access the skills they will need once they leave school. The course will cover functional literacy skills such as how to apply for a job and fill out paperwork required for the workplace as well as giving pupils the opportunity to practise their functional reading skills.

We believe that this course will help to create individuals who are able to make informed choices and decisions, make reasoned evaluations and exist in their society with confidence that they have the practical and necessary literacy skills to be successful in their chosen workplace.

Pupils have the opportunity to gain certificates in Employability, Health and Safety and Communiation 2.
