What a fabulous day p6 had at Amazonia today.  We had a tour of the indoor rainforest, held some animals(we were very brave) and had a game of ten pin bowling.

Thankfully the Scottish weather didn’t stop the P6 sports today!  Our pupils were fantastic and showed great sportsmanship today.  A thoroughly enjoyable morning for all!

PC Scade delivered talks about bullying today.  We learned about the different forms bullying can take.  We also learned how we can keep ourselves safe and know what actions we should take if we ever feel like we are being bullied.

We were lucky enough to receive 30 Microbits from Digital Xtra Fund. P6N have been learning how to use them and have had fun experimenting with them.  Today we linked our coding to our climate change topic and designed LED fishing nets that would prevent ‘bycatch’.   We had to code our Microbits to be sensitive to light and on,y switch on when it became dark.

P6N all looked fabulous in their costumes.  Great effort from everyone.  I was really impressed with their Tim Burton inspired charcoal drawings too, well done P6!
