Focus on your 3 and 4 times tables this week – write them out neatly in your jotter.

Use the 100 square grid to spot number patterns in the times tables.
Keep learning your Scottish poem. We will be performing our poems in class on Friday 31st January. We would really like everyone to have a go with this.

The Night Sky app and Star Walk app are really good for tracking where the planets and star constellations are. Both are free to download.

We are having our annual Scottish Poetry competition very soon, the class winners will be announced on 6th February.
You have chosen your poem in class and a copy of it is in your bag. Here are all the poems in case you should need them.
Please learn your poems at home. Remember to use your voice to make it sound interesting. You can also use actions and props if you like.

This is our last homework for 2024. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to welcoming you all to our Christmas Carol Concert on Friday 6th December. If possible could your child wear a Christmas jumper and or Christmas accessories. We will be having a dress rehearsal on Thursday for the school, children are welcome to wear festive clothes on this day too.
This week we are focussing on common words.
Use your look, cover, write and check strategy to write these words out 3 times. Then write a sentence for each one. We have been trying to extend our sentences by adding lots of detail, try this at home with your sentences.
