Your homework words are in your jotter. This week you have a choice
- Write sentences for each of your words
- Write a story which includes all of your words
- Look back over the spelling grids from last term and choose 2 of your favourite activities.
We are looking at Fractions in class just now. So far we have been talking about halves and quarters. With the help of an adult have a think about some of these fun ideas to find fractions
- Pizza time – cut a pizza into equal parts – can you find a half and then a quarter?
- Cut fruit like apples or oranges into equal parts to show halves and quarters
- Cut toast/sandwiches into equal parts to find halves and quarters
- Have a go at some of your own ideas. How can you look for fractions in the house?
