Tuesday 20th May 2025

Our school trip is this Thursday!

Can you please ensure that if your child requires any medication that the school has this and it is in date.

The weather looks dry, however please make sure that your child has a jacket and appropriate footwear. School uniform should be worn on the top half – school polo shirt and/or jumper and suitable leggings/joggers or trousers. Trainers or shoes with socks please – NO SANDALS.  Should the weather be warm please make sure your child has or has had sun cream applied.

The following is a request from the farm park: “All children must have socks on and joggers to cover their legs when going down the slides.”

We are not going to visit the gift shop so please do not send your child in with any money.

Lunch can be brought in a carrier bag or a school bag however please note that this is your child’s responsibility to look after.

As with all trips we are looking for your child to demonstrate our school values of confidence, happiness, achieving, responsibility and respect as we are representing the school.

  • Write sentences for each of your words
  • Write a story which includes all of your words

Homework 7th May

You will have your homework words copied into your jotter.

Write them out 3 times and either write a sentence for each one or write an imaginative story which uses all your words. REMEMBER your sentence targets.

We are contining with dividing and multiplying – have a go at some of these word problems. There are a few tricky ones – give them a go – it’s good to challenge your brain!

Remember your skip counting strategy.

Write out any calculations you do to work out the answers.

Remember your Bug Club has updated books. How many coins do you have in your treasure chest. Remember to answer the bugs to collect more coins!

We are going on our trip on Thursday 22nd May. If you would like the school to provide a packed lunch for this day, please order on line a few days before 22nd May. If you are providing a packed lunch, please make sure your child knows this so they can pass this information onto their teacher.
