Good afternoon families!
Our phoneme this week is the phoneme ‘ow’ as in snow.
Words to practice are: low, show, crow, row and grow.
Remember to use our hand tool to help spell these words!
1 – say the word
2 – break it up (how many sounds are in the word, e.g. ball, b-a-ll, 3 sounds)
3 – make it (using spelling letters)
4 – blend it and read it (what are the sounds, blend them together)
5 – write it
Our common words for this week are: own, one, two and three.

As usual Thursday is our outdoor learning day so please make sure students have weather appropriate clothing!
