The Common word for this week is ‘I’m’, so please keep trying to read and write all the stage 2 Common words alongside ‘I’m’.

As always the children’s Bug Club accounts have been replenished with new books and a Maths Game to practice.

Please remember that Friday is Children in Need where children can wear spots and bright colours if they would like to.

This week is a consolidation week where we can practice the ‘ea’, ‘ay’ and ‘y’ phonemes. All children will have been given all up to date phonemes and should go back on the BLOG to revise words from the lists given previously.

All children will now also have a strip or two of Common words. We would like you to work with your child so they are able to read and write these words. We are also giving out all the Primary 1 Common Words to consolidate their learning, as some words have been forgotten and need revising.

As always there will be BUG CLUB books to read and answer the wee Bug questions on and Maths games that are related to pupil’s learning in school.
