Chroma Key (Green Screen)

Relatively easy to use with great potential across the curriculum.  Simply film a video against a plain coloured background (generally green hence the term green screen).  Must be used with video editing software which support chroma key effects, ie Serif MoviePlus.

Simple to use video editing software designed for Apple devices (eg Mac, iPad).   No official version exists for PC.

Into Film    

A really useful site for accessing film clips and information about making films.  Use the site search function to look for ‘Successful Filmmaking at School’ – a useful series of 3 short videos about making films with children.
