Astrobiology Project  

Developed by the UK Centre for Astrobiology, in collaboration with the RAiSE Project, these resources were originally designed to be used as a P7-S1 transition project.  However, it could easily be adapted as a 2nd/3rd level topic.  There are 5 modules:  Origin of Life; Habitability of Earth and Other Planets; Detection of Life; Life in Extreme Environments; and, Exoplanets.  It aims to cover: Topical science; Practical experiments – simple and impactful with a focus on experimental design and practical write up development; and, broad areas of Science.  Full teachers guide and classroom resources are included.
