Healthy Day – Friday 6th May

Screen Shot 2016-04-26 at 20.51.28

We’re getting healthy here at St. Ninian’s Primary School, and on Friday 6th May we’re looking forward to celebrating our health-kick with a day of activities.

This will be a non-uniform day and if possible, all pupils should come along in sports wear.

We’ll be having visitors and doing all sorts of healthy activities including Let’s Get Sporty, a fruit hunt, Childsmile, Smoking Matters and an assault course! It is going to be brilliant.

Remember the date – Friday 6th May!

See you then.

P6 descend on Hexham!

Last week Primary 6 had an amazing residential trip to Dukeshousewood in Hexham.  The children were excellent representatives of the school and took on new and exciting challenges every day.  We even brought some good weather back with us!  Have a look at some of the pictures showing us enjoying some activities.

Fully ‘Booked’!

What a treat P1-3 had today! Our very own Mr Moffat brought his wonderful puppet show, ‘Booked,’ into school. The children watched in amazement as he told the story of a little girl called Heather who thought books were boring. One by one, the characters in her books came to life as she tried to sleep, sparking the imaginations of our children. Mr Moffat is now holding puppet-making workshops in classrooms. If you would like to find out more about his shows, check out his website – www.dragonflydreaming.co.uk
