On the 1st of May 2025 Primary 5-7 went to the community garden. We were there with a community helper called Katie. While we were there we made our own compost, we planted carrots, we planted strawberries and we just generally helped out. It was so fun and a benefit was that it was a gorgeous sunny day! We learnt about how to make compost and we are basically all experts now… Of course we had a teacher with us but we were all very independent and we worked in pairs to build up our teamwork skills while making the compost. We also planted our own plants of any seed in little containers and got to take them all. It was a very fun experience and we all enjoyed it very much! Thank you to all the helpers who helped organise it 🙂
ON 5,5,25 Holly went to a football match with 7 x 15 minute matches and she got a trophy
