Pupil Groups 22.4.26

At pupil groups we were all very busy doing lots of jobs like baking, gardening, art and crafts and the blog group. There was also a library group.

Numeracy Parents Workshop a Success!

Mrs Dalgleish came on 21th of April at our school and parents came in to hear about our Maths some children set up stations of Maths and about what we have been doing. We talked about Fractions Adding and subtracting shapes also decimals and measure. We got the grownups to play games at our stations. We explained step by step so they know what they know what we do. They learned quite Alot about what we do in maths.

On Thursday 5th March, it was World Book Day, i dressed up as ey ore and my friend was winny the pooh. We had people from the village come in and read books. I listened to Narnia and Private Peaceful.

Isla in P1 told me that she has had 7 baby lambs at her farm so far.

Oscar told me that they are learning about WW2 in their class. He has enjoyed learning about propaganda and how the government tried to inspire people to go to war.

Cora , Josh and Joey went to the maths challenge day. They made posters about the story of money, played games and Josh’s favourite activity was the head to head game.

Leon told me he was making a new display for the library.

Rosie Godwin will be coming into school for Forest School on the following dates:-

P4-7’s – Friday 6th, 13th and 20th of March

P1-4’s – Friday 17th, 24th April and the 1st of May.
