On Thursday 5th March, it was World Book Day, i dressed up as ey ore and my friend was winny the pooh. We had people from the village come in and read books. I listened to Narnia and Private Peaceful.

Isla in P1 told me that she has had 7 baby lambs at her farm so far.

Oscar told me that they are learning about WW2 in their class. He has enjoyed learning about propaganda and how the government tried to inspire people to go to war.

Cora , Josh and Joey went to the maths challenge day. They made posters about the story of money, played games and Josh’s favourite activity was the head to head game.

Leon told me he was making a new display for the library.

Rosie Godwin will be coming into school for Forest School on the following dates:-

P4-7’s – Friday 6th, 13th and 20th of March

P1-4’s – Friday 17th, 24th April and the 1st of May.

Please remember to send in wellies and appropriate waterproof clothing on these days.

P7 did a Scottish tea party on Wednesday 28th January

Arron, Josh,Jared,joey and Jaime did  the entertainment.

Cora and Willow did the food.

Everyone had lots of fun!

P,4,5,6,7 played a football league at North West Community Campus Dumfries 

On the 9th of February Josh,Cora,Tessa,Jamie,Jared,Harvey,Archie,Magnus and Ivar played a football tournament.  This was organised by Mr Law our PE teacher. We got 2 wins and 2 losses. We played against Kelloholm, Sanquhar, Dunscore, Wallacehall, Holywood, Penpont, Duncow and Closeburn.

On Wednesdays a group of children learn how to play guitar songs with Mr Orr. We play songs such as I hear thunder, Peppa pig, twinkle twinkle, row row, happy birthday, jingle bells and London bridge. It is lots of fun. I am sad because Mr Orr is retiring. I hope we will get somebody new to take over.
