Today both classes at Kirkcolm had a input from Lisa Cope – who educated the pupils all about budgeting. We learned what budgeting is and why it is an essential skill to have throughout life! Little ones looked at budgeting for a day out where as the older pupils looked at budgeting for a birthday party, with a few curve balls thrown in there along the way! 

This was a great session to examine how budgeting works and our spending habits! Pupils were scandalised when some of them realised they had overspent beyond their means!
