Primary 6 have been using an Atlas to identify a country on a blank world map. We had to locate a country on a map of the world and draw a line from a present to this country in our own map. We then had to find the flag of that country and colour the Christmas present the colour of the flag.

Google Maps Scavenger Hunt in Primary 6
Primary 6 have been using their Ipad slot to complete a scavenger hunt on Google Maps. We had to find the geographical feature, identify the country and then identify another geographical feature close by.
We used lots of our META skills for this task.
A Match Girl’s Christmas
Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils are busy rehearsing for their Christmas performance. This year, we are doing A Matchgirl’s Christmas, which is based in Victorian times.
Cracking Cryptography in Primary 6
We have been busy completing an online workshop on Cracking Cryptography through My World of Work. We are doing another workshop tomorrow on Game Design.
STEM in Primary 6
Primary 6 has been designing and testing rockets as part of our STEM challenges. We predicted whether they would fly. Our next task is to redesign our rockets based on what we now know.
More Gymnastics in Primary 6
Primary 6 has been learning to use different pieces of apparatus in Gymnastics with Mr Sharp. We spoke about safety aspects when using larger pieces of equipment.
Coding in Primary 6
Primary 6 has been learning to code using the website www.code.org. We created characters and dance moves.
Congratulations Primary 6 Swimmers.
Will, Abbie, Olly and Abigail represented Heathhall Primary School at the Scottish Schools Regional swimming competition at DGOne on Thursday 9th November.
Medals will be announced in 2 weeks time but our class think they did fab and were super representatives for the school.
