SEEMiS Recording
SEEMiS is an Education Management Information System (MIS) provider. As the standard MIS within Scottish Education, all schools in Dumfries and Galloway use SEEMiS Click & Go to process student data.
Heads of establishment are responsible for ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information about all children and young people enrolled in their establishment, including those on shared placements, is entered on the SEEMIS system.
These records are essential in helping heads of establishments to make the arrangements to ensure that each child or young person is regularly reviewed and future needs anticipated. They are also important for decisions about the allocation of resources within the establishment and by the education authority. Staff in Education Services headquarters will access these records and collate and analyse the information.
