Math Week
Math week was a good, we did a lot of activities my favourite part was when we were doing the numbers up to 12 and the butterfly. I enjoyed that was a good day after my mum came to pick us up from school we showed her our numbers up to 12 and the butterfly it definitely was the best day of my life.
Fair Trade Coffee Afternoon
Today we hosted a Fair Trade Coffee Afternoon to celebrate Fair Trade Fortnight. Earlier this week we made cakes to sell and raise money to benefit Fair Trade farmers.
Whole School STEAM Afternoon
On Friday we had our first whole school STEAM Afternoon of the year. We were focusing on working as a team to make an accessible Paralympic podium.

Welcome Back
- Update and further develop our planning and progression pathways for numeracy and maths. Embed the last session’s progress on our literacy progression pathways, particularly writing, into our planning and assessment formats.
- Further develop and embed digital literacy learning and digital skills across our school.
- Continue to improve communication with parents and increase opportunities for positive parental involvement and engagement in the life and work of the school.
End of the Year 2023-2024
We would like to wish everyone a wonderful Summer Holiday. We will reopen to pupils on Wednesday 21st August 2024.
We thought we would share the wonderful words of Mr Wright (Parent) as they are a fitting send off to our P7s.

Our 60th Anniversary School Song
During term 1, Emily helped us create a song to celebrate the school’s 60th Anniversary in it’s current building. Last week Emily and Claudia helped us record the song to share with everyone. We hope you like it!
Where did our Wee Brew money go this year?
Miss Atkins shared with us today that the money went to Mantchombe School.
They decided to spend the money on solar panels so that they can study at night time.
