HARVEST ASSEMBLY
The whole school celebrated harvest last Friday. We held our yearly Harvest Assembly. We sang song and performed a wee play as well. Our parents brought in some donations for the harvest assembly, which will be donated to a local food banks.
We have been doing football with a queen of the south coach and hes been teaching us and its been alright.
Last week we done a maths morning and we had games in the hall and an example of some of the games were chess cards puzzle games . Pupils parents came in and we were playing maths game in the class and me and joseph were having so much fun playing this game .
We are going to have a health & wellbeing week! It will include Motivational Monday, Togetherness Tuesday, Wellbeing Wednesday, Teamwork Thursday with Moniaive making a visit and Fitness Friday, Sports Day! I hope it is fun and educational!
On Monday 11th May for our health and well-being week we had an assembly about perseverance and we listened to a song called Try Everything. It was very fun and we all enjoyed it.
The Technicians were updating the blog and talking about the digital school policy.
The Fairtrade group were making chocolate rice krispies with sprinkles.
The School Improvement Team were sorting the new library and moving the new books.
I don’t know what the PE Parliament where doing.
The Green Group were doing something involving snails.
Norri and Arianna liked the burns supper because we read poems and had Scottish themed food.
The school has recently got a lot of new clubs including:
.Coding club
.Golf club
.Comic club
.Drawing club
.Acro club
.Dancing club
All of these are student led clubs.
At the Burns tea party we had to sing poems and songs. There were snacks like Irn Bru, tattie scones and pancakes.
Pupils here have bean making clubs. The clubs are : Dance Club, Acro Club, Golf Club , Drawing Club, Coding club and Comic Club.
A lot of children have been signing up and attending these clubs. There is a club on every day sometimes even two. These clubs are enjoyable and good for learning new skills.
