Today we held our Sponsored Dodgeball Event and what a day it has been!
We have played around 75 games of Dodgeball and all pupils have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They have worked so well in their teams and supported each other, either playing or refereeing!
At the moment the total raised is an amazing £655! Well done to everyone who has collected sponsors and if there are any other donations outstanding please could they be handed in by Monday.
Thanks
Miss Atkins

Today some pupils from P5-7 took part in the Queen of the South Community Plate at Palmerston. There were 8 schools competing and our team won!
Ben, Jack, Reuben, Cameron, Finlay, Isak, Joesph and Jamie played very well throughout the rounds and then went into the semi-final. This went to penalties, which was very exciting and we got through to the final and won 1-0.
We want to say a huge thank you to Colin, our coach and Mr Carter for his support today.
This was a new competition held by Queen of the South and so we are very lucky to be the first name engraved on the plate! This plate will be kept at Palmerston in their trophy cabinet. We were given a trophy to keep in the school.

In our Hall of Fame we have all of our awards. I will now give you some photos and a video.

Today we were sorted into our pupil forum I was put in the technicians .
We have been exploring Children’s Mental Health Week for our assembly this week. Every child in the school created a picture with their own personality islands. We were using the resources from the Place2Be Website:

On the 28th of February 2025 Primary 1-7 will have a day of dodgeball to raise money for new football kits. It will be really fun! I think everyone will have fun 🥳🏐🥇🥈🥉🏆🎉✔️🏴
On Thursday we held our annual Christmas Party for the whole school. We played corners, pass the parcel, Santa and his reindeer and musical statues.
Our Nativity this year was called ‘The Fleece Force’. We preformed our nativity at the church as part of our Christmas Service, which also included carols and the P5-7 playing Jingle Bells on the Glockenspiels.
