In primary 5-7 our topic is Our World.
We started by looking at a world map of continents.
I find it quite interesting 🤔.
Our topic in P3/4 is Vikings So far we have learnt that Vikings invaded countries including the UK. They travelled in long boats and lived in long houses.
In our topic we have been learning where different countries are in an Atlas.
Our topic this year so far has been all about Vikings 🗡️
So far we watched an episode about Vikings and then we drew a lot of Viking items and equipment in our topic books. This is our topic front cover.
We have really enjoyed our topic so far and really want to learn new and interesting things about Vikings like how they lived in the Viking times.

In Primary 3/4 our topic is: Vikings.
The first thing we did was our KWL. To see what we know and what we want to learn about.
This year we recently started a new topic about our world. 🌍
It’s been very interesting so far we started naming and marking the 7 continents the 5 oceans and the countries inside those continents
Mrs Robertson asked us what we wanted to learn about and that we were going to start with the entire world then be more specific about Scotland and Dunscore. We’ve all had fun so far and really want to learn more like how different cultures live in ways that are different how we live in Scotland.
On Friday we had our first whole school STEAM Afternoon of the year. We were focusing on working as a team to make an accessible Paralympic podium.
