Working Together to Achieve Excellence

I never eat soup until…
I made my own soup today at Holywood.
It was vegetable soup: carrots, leek , potatoes, onion and turnip.
I used a knife and a potato peeler – it was my first time peeling veg.
Ms Gray blended the soup – good, because I don’t like lumps in soup.
When the the soup was ready it smelled amazing!
I didn’t think I would like it but I loved it .
Then I was cheeky and asked for some bread to dip in my soup. Yum!!

Today at school it was a little bit different because we went to watch a movie in school time which was really cool then lunch and after lunch we went on the computers to well to a blog and thats what happened today!
On Monday, we did a lot of baking!
On Tuesday, we a lot of crafting!

craft day is a day meant for lots of different D.I.Y
crafts like reindeer cards,reefs,bobbles.
Today we had Mrs Dale teaching us. We created abstract art. First we had to draw on our white boards. Next, we had to draw on some paper. After we finished it we started painting. I used different shades of purple. I really enjoyed painting it.
Mrs Jardine and I took all the pupils who wanted to come along to the field at lunchtime today.
It was amazing!
The wind blew all our cobwebs away as we ran, rolled and jumped. Some of us tried to climb trees – some of us will have to wait until we are taller but we gave it our best shot.
Thomas and I gave a tree a hug and had a listen to see if the trees wanted to talk to us.
David and I collected different types of leaves and collected them for a rattle wind stick.

Are just some of the Meta Skills we used in the field today!!
Meanwhile… Mrs Stephen and 3 pupils stayed behind and had the whole playground to themselves!!! They loved it!!
We’ve decided we are going to the field as often as we can!
