Working Together to Achieve Excellence

We used a daffodil as an example of what we were going to draw today.
Mrs Campbell taught us how to make the trumpet of the daffodil and the petals.

We stood up to saw our wood.
And we sawed it three times back before going forward.
And then you have to put the wood on the benchhook.
Cut on the line that you drew.
Hold the wood with your hand so that it is stable.
I loved sawing!

We went outside to look at Daffodils because we were going to make them in class
Wonder who we will give our pictures too?

We wonder where your ‘Silliest’ place to read would be? We had kennels, the washing machine, in a digger, in a bath, outside in the dark, upside down, in a suitcase.. to name but a few!
Was great fun! Well done to our amazing families for joining in the fun!

We had the best time celebrating reading and books! What fun with quizzes, games, stories and so much more! We even had the ‘Tiger Who Came to Tea’ come to our Duncow tea party! Thankfully no cakes were stolen in the making of this photo gallery and all children were safe! Huge shout out to our Tiger, James, what a champion!!!!!
