Wow, what a Gardening Club session this week!

This week we weeded, added manure to the raised beds, sowed lettuce seeds, planted potatoes and watered and watered and watered. We even got to add some of our very own compost that we have been making in our composter over the past few years. It was amazing and great quality so Angie said!

Thank you so much to the new parent volunteers that came to help, it made a huge difference being able to work in small groups, giving quality guidance and increasing the pupils learning.

We’ll be watching carefully and tending our garden as the seeds and plants begin to grow from seeds into seedlings.
