P3/4 were challenged to create an invention for their homework. Their task was to design a product to help our daily lives. They look great!

This week, P3/4 took part in a live interactive BBC broadcast. Lots of schools joined together and created an exciting story which was read by David Walliams.
Each week, a group of P3/4’s will be going to do activities with the residents of Allenbank. They are having lots of fun!
The WOW mascot ‘Strider’ came to school to join us for a healthy breakfast. Lots of children travelled to school by foot or scooter.
This week, the whole school was involved in a Burns assembly. The winners of the Scottish Poem Competition performed for the school. They were excellent!
This term, P3/4 have been constructing Lego models and bringing them to life by programming them. This is helping improve their communication and team-building skills.
Pupils in P3/4 have been involved in active learning. During class work, they have been moving around and sitting in different places to help with their concentration.
Last week, children took part in workshops organised by Childline. They learned all about keeping themselves safe.
