Two groups of P7 pupils have brought back trophies after taking part in two competitions. One group represented Gretna Primary School at a Science Competition in Langholm and won first place. Another group of children took part in a Forestry Commission Countryside Safety Challenge and also won. Well done everybody!

Shoe Box Appeal
During the Christmas period some of the children and their families filled shoe boxes to send to children less fortunate than them as part of the Shoe Box Appeal.Thank you for all of your donations; there will be a lot of children who are very grateful for them. Here are a group of children with all the boxes that were donated.
Christmas Carol Singing
During December, the school choir were out carol singing. They sang at the switch on of the Christmas lights at the Richard Greenhow Centre and also at Gretna Gateway. They were very cold days and nights but the children definitely brought the Christmas Spirit! Thank you to everybody who came to support us.
Gretna Community Sport Win The People’s Millions!
On Tuesday 25th November, it was announced that Gretna Community Sport had won a grant from The People’s Millions. Primary Seven pupils were involved in recording a short new article for the appeal.
