Choices for Life with P7s
On Wednesday 28th May P7s joined 62 other schools to watch and take part in the Choices for Life Live Online event. They learned about the dangers of alcohol and drugs, then had an opportunity to interact online with other schools as well as the Choices for Life presenters. The children were extremely ‘chuffed’ to get a shout out from the presenters at the start of the show!
Well done P7s, Miss Clendinning and Mrs Burn!
P5D visit the museum
Primary 5D recently visited Dalbeattie Museum as part of our History work. We learned lots of information about the artefacts. Mya thought the dentist’s drill looked like a lot of hard work. We thought it looked terrifying! We had fun using the old fashioned weighing scales. Dalbeattie museum is special because the staff let us interact with the artefacts. We enjoyed typing, playing pinball and wearing the gas masks and helmets. We recommend visiting Dalbeattie Museum!
