Daisy was in school visiting P2 for their talks on dairy for health week.
Who dressed up as Daisy on the staff?
P4w and K have been working with Mrs Popov on their singing and today they got to share their songs with other primary schools- Lochrutton and St. Peter’s.
We all had a great time and enjoyed hearing the other schools as well.
Many thanks to Mrs Popov for all her hard work and making the Singshare a success!
Both P4K and W have been swimming for two weeks at the pool in Castle Douglas. It has been great fun and group two are going next week!

On Thursday the 31st of January it was Mrs Mc Farlane’s last day at Dalbeattie Primary; she retired after many years of teaching. We will miss her.
Mrs Fortnum and her dancers made up a dance to represent Mrs Mc Farlane’s holidays with her husband, relaxing times ahead and her contribution to Scottish dancing after school club.
Not only was there a dance but an award for being a Successful Learner, Confident Individual, Responsible Citizen and Effective Contributor; well done Mrs Mac!!!
There was a song from the choir about Brian, an invisible friend who everyone blames-I wish I had one! The choir was led by Rory Mc Latchie.
Sadly, Jacinta and Olivia who have been here for almost a year are leaving us and returning to Australia.
They have been a great asset to the school with their happy, smiling faces and enthusiastic attitude. We will miss them very
much!
It has been a great pleasure to have them in our school.
and we wish them all the best!
