Tracing joined letters in shaving foam helps us remember the joins. It’s also great fun!

Co-operation and team work
We learned that we often need to co operate and work as a team to achieve something.
In this game we had to negotiate the spider’s web we had created; and we only succeeded when everyone worked together.
Spreading the joy!
What a fun afternoon P3 had when we were invited to entertain the local community.
We love to dance and we hope we spread a smile or two!
Members of the community shared experiences they had of dancing at weddings and parties and P3 were thrilled to meet a couple of gentlemen who were 95 and 96 years older than them!
Thank you for the warm receptions and refreshments, chocolate and thank yous we received.
Using our times tables
2 teams had a challenge to make a sum to match the answers on the board and colour their picture.
suggesting 8 x 4 for 32 allowed us to colour that shape.
Well done P3, you played so well!
Sharing a message
We made posters to remind others to save energy.
We love to act
This week we acted out our R.E. story ” The Wedding feast at Cana”
Energy saving
We have been learning how we can save energy.
Remember to switch those lights off when not in a room!
A model bird
The yellow RWInc group enjoyed making a model bird following the instructions in their reading book.

World Book Day
What great fun we had today! Thanks to all at home for helping with costumes- everyone looked great!
We started the day with a visit to Menzieshill Library, took part in a class book quiz back at school and enjoyed taking part in the school parade and seeing all the wonderful outfits. We even had a visit from a Minion!
We also enjoyed 3 stations: having fun with Miss Thomson looking for book clues in the playground and making bookmarks in class, enjoying Elmer activities with Mrs Oglesby; and taking part in Mary Poppins activities (making kites and flying them, and learning the supercalifrajalistic dance moves) with Mary Poppins (where was Mrs Taylor today?)
Earlier this week we enjoyed visitors, kindly arranged by Mrs Brankin who told us stories.
Thanks to all involved for making our learning so much fun!
