This afternoon Primary 7 made the most of the lovely weather and spent time outside with their buddies, they played games together and created some fantastic artwork using chalk.
Primary 7 had a fantastic day at Active Kids, well done to everyone for their respectful behaviour and helping the younger children.
Primary 7 took part in Fit Thursday and had the chance to play football, tennis and hockey.
During Careers Week, Primary 7 had a visit from two Visual Specialists that work in schools (and in St Ninian’s). They brought in a range of games and activities for the class to try, these are games that are adapted to enable visually impaired children to play them. We really enjoyed the visit, thank you Louise and Gillian!
Primary 7 thoroughly enjoyed the rest of Careers Week and had visits from a solicitor, a graphic designer, a florist, a fire fighter, a construction company and many more. It was evident in all of the talks that the skills Primary 7 have been working on relating to Skills for Life, Learning and Work are essential for lots of different careers – for example, team working, problem solving and communication skills.
This week is Careers Week and yesterday Primary 7 had the opportunity to hear more about several careers, including an I.T Specialist, an Educational Psychologist and a Health Journalist. They were all very interesting and we asked lots of interesting and valuable questions.
Primary 7 have been busy preparing for the Summer Fayre and have created some fantastic art work. We look forward to seeing everyone there! The Fayre will be taking place this Saturday, 1st June from 10-12.
