Good Morning everyone ❤️

Literacy

  • Look at the picture below and read the story starter that comes with it.  Complete the questions based on the story starter to ensure you have a sound understanding of it.  Then I would like you to the ‘perfect picture’ task.

  • Maths – All groups.

Although we have not covered 3D shapes in P6, I know you all have some knowledge about them.  I have set this task to allow you to familiarise yourself with 3D Shapes as this may be an area you cover in P7!   Click the links below and listen carefully.  Then complete the challenges below. (These are not difficult, I have set them just to refresh your memory.)

  • What are 3D shapes? https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zjv39j6/articles/zcsjqty
  • What are the properties of 3D shapes? (Faces, edges and vertices) https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zjv39j6/articles/zgqpk2p

Once finished you can play one of the games on topmarks, 3D shapes related.
