Primary 6 are listening to the audio book of ‘Goodnight Mister Tom’, as this novel follows the story a young boy who grew up during WW2.  Primary 6 analysed the book cover, paying particular attention to word choice and illustrations. They were using that information to then make their predictions of the storyline.  Primary 6 did this very well and were almost spot on with their predictions.  This lesson opened up many in depth discussions in class and all children were good at agreeing/disagreeing respectfully and building on each others ideas.  Well done!
