Today we learned all about the Last Supper and how it was like the first ever mass. We also spoke about Jesus’ sacrifice for us on Good Friday. We compared different types of sacrifices in a Top Trumps game.

Today Mr Smith helped us learn about the importance of reading with expression and recognising and responding to punctuation. This will really help us when we have to read to primary 1.

Today in HWB we started our lesson by building our fitness during our six and a half minute run. We then developed our ball skills and teamwork playing Nukemball. 🏀

Today in IDL we started making paper mache planets using newspaper and paste.

Today in I.C.T we reinforced our knowledge of angles by playing KUNG FU ANGLES

In the afternoon  we also tasted some Irish food, soda bread and potato cakes.

Today we have been learning all about St Patrick, we also made some leprechauns and played hurling an Irish sport! ☘️☘️

We had a very busy Thursday and got lots of opportunities for physical activities including GoNoodle, Botcha, curling, parkour, football and basketball.

Today in numeracy we used an aerial map of the school and the surrounding area to find the coordinates of classrooms, the church and other buildings surrounding the school.

This evening the girls football team had their first training session of the new season. Lauren, Luisa, Jessica, Alexandria, Megan, Niamh,Taylor and Gabrielle from P5/6, Ruby and Nicola from P4/5 and Alix and Mollie from P7  all took part. We started training outside but when it started to rain Mr McCormack decided to move inside so his hair didn’t get wet.
