In ICT we have been using Textease to create posters about the first moon landing.
Today in IDL we looked at Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. We experimented with brush techniques and paint patterns to create our own versions.
We have been working with partners to develop our racket skills. We have been working on badminton skills already and now we have moved on to tennis. Watch out Andy Murray!
We try to walk at least three miles each week. Since August we have walked over 60 miles! That’s the same distance as from Dundee to Edinburgh!

We have been looking at non-fiction texts in Literacy and Language, with our learning partners we designed websites for Stage and Sports Schools.
We are taking part in the Picture Book Competition where we will each read four different picture books to the primary 1s. Along with other schools in Dundee we will vote for our favourite and the winner will be announced at a special event in the Whitehall Theatre.

We are very fortunate to be working with a French language assistant, Jean Baptiste, his French accent is just a little better than Mr McCormack’s! Today we learned the names of animals in French.
During ICT today we learned the importance of internet safety and googled our names to see how much information there is about ourselves online
