Choose the sound you have been learning in RWInc this week, when playing this game:
http://www.ictgames.com/mobilePage/forestPhonics/index.html
or this game:
http://www.ictgames.com/dinosaurEggs_phonics/mobile/
This game is great when you want to practise identifying capital letters:
Match capital letters to lower case letters ( choose handwriting – capital letters):
http://www.ictgames.com/mobilePage/rabbits/index.html
We know that we need a capital letter at the beginning of each sentence. Read along and add a capital letter:

This one is a little more challenging:

We have been practising the correct formation of a , d and g. Remind yourself of the formation with this demonstration:

( Tell a grown up the stories we have learned in school about the apple, dinosaur and girl)
The circles group have been practising counting.
Try this game : https://www.topmarks.co.uk/learning-to-count/gingerbread-man-game
or this one with Numicon:

Some of us wrote sums explaining how teen numbers are made.
We used our imagination and had great fun outside today.
Today some children practised their counting.
We are remembering to count slowly and carefully.
Some children continued their work on tens and ones examining the teenage numbers. We enjoyed playing a matching pairs game.
Today we learned that wheat is ground into flour and mixed to make bread.
We tasted different types of bread and acted the story of the little red hen, who made bread from wheat.
We learned that carrots grow under the ground.
We made sequence stories about the life of a carrot!
What fun we had learning about how oats grow and are harvested and processed. We enjoyed tasting oatcakes, cheerios and hob nob biscuits, all made from oats. We made pictures using cheerios and acted out the story that oats make from farm to our plate
Tasting porridge was great fun!
We have used many tools in class to practise the letter formation of a, d and g. We know the stories about each letter formation and these help us practise writing the letters correctly.
a is around the apple and down the leaf, d is around the dinosaur’s body, up his tall neck and down to his toes; and g is around the girl’s face, down her hair and give her a curl.
