Literacy

- Today , take your pointing stick ( end of pencil, spoon, straw, etc) and practice reading the words from the red word list ( there is a copy in your home learning pack, or it is shown in link below).
Remember “you can’t Fred a red”. These words don’t follow the sounds rules. You might be able to tell an adult why they each word is a red word. ( In was, the a sounds like an o!)
Ask an adult to choose a word. Can you write it without looking at it?
- Green and pink groups: Can you write the words to match the pictures. Use your sounds chart to blend sounds: c – o -t
