I am in the hub this week, so won’t be posting work daily.
Well boys and girls , you are nearly in Primary 3! How exciting!
What a strange P2 it has been !
As we approach the end of term, I will include some ideas as to how you can be ready for P3 and some fun activities , although perhaps a little different from those we would have done in school.
Remember also the “sports days at home” which MrMcCormack posted on Friday.

Writing
We are living in some very strange times . One day you will be able to tell people younger than you all about it. How amazing it would be for them to see and read something you wrote during these times. Why not draw some pictures – maybe a picture of you doing your home learning, walking past something that is closed , your new hairstyle as hairdressers and barbers are shut, something you have made, a game you have played or a video call you have made with your family. Add some writing to add an explanation. Mrs Taylor has been typing up about my experiences , as maybe one day my grandchildren who are still very young, may want to read them and hear what it was like!

Other activities
Being as independent as you can will be a great thing to be.
How are you getting on with tying laces / fastening buckles /fastening coats?
Have you become an expert at listening carefully ?
- We played “Simon Says” at school, to practise great listening.
- Try this adult says a word for example dog, you say a word beginning with the last sound in their word: golf, continue in this way: fish, ship, pen, net, etc. It helps your listening as you need to listen very carefully to each word.
Materials
This lesson explores materials and has some activities similar to those we did in school:
