Now read these sentences. Take a note of why the red words are red words ( they don’t follow our spelling pattern – the sounds misbehave). Count the number of words and look at the punctuation.

Say them in different voices.
Now without looking at the sentences, write them down.

Practise the names of 2 digit numbers with this game: Take 2 playing cards – take out the 10, J, Q K and Ace-(or numbered pieces of paper) . Can you say the number? ( Use your 100 square if stuck).
