Using our knowledge of transparent materials following Tuesday’s lesson, we made our own glasses choosing transparent materials for the lenses.

Primary 2 – 2 times tables
The squares group have been investigating how we can count in 2s. This is a quick, yet accurate way of counting. We have learned that this is called the 2 times tables.

We have had a lot of enjoyment as we learned about rhythm and bests with Miss Melton.

We have been counting in 2s with Miss Melton.
Counting in 2s let’s us count quickly, yet accurately.
Primary 2 – Outdoor ceilidh 2
To celebrate Burns day , the whole school participated in another Outdoor ceilidh.
This time we danced to 21st century music rather than traditional Scottish music.

We enjoyed visiting the library this week to select books to enjoy at home.
Primary 2 – The tin forest
This afternoon Miss Melton helped children make creatures for the role play area which Miss Melton is transforming into the tin forest , similar to the one in the story she read to the class.
